      Course description

This 2-day course will introduce the concept of palpating embryological motions in the adult patient. We will look at the patterns that can present from stagnations or incompletions in early development in life. Some accepted corrections will be covered. The palpation will begin with looking at the most common areas of dysfunction and will evolve into more complicated areas of cranial and visceral development. Using palpation of the inherent motions of the morphogenic fields, evaluation of the septum transversum, brain folds, and cranial vertebrae will be discussed. The subject of epigenetics and chronic miasms will be introduced as they relate to the passing down of patterns from one generation to the next. We will discuss using palpation to determine the origin of these patterns.

Brad has been teaching embryology at five osteopathic campuses internationally since 2001. His use of embryological palpation in treatment began at the same time and this course is a prospective of this experience. He was the originator of the current curriculum of embryology at the CCO including the evolution into the online version of the course today.
